Changing the potting compound

binder has qualified two new potting compounds in response to the current supply situation on the market.

The potting compounds currently used will be replaced by a different epoxy resin potting compound, depending on the design.

The potting material adjustment does not lead to any application changes and has no effect on the function of the connectors.
The change in potting material results in a visual difference to the old material.

Please note the pictures below.

- The change initially affects some standard items in the 813 and 814 series.
- The new epoxy resin potting compounds are UL-approved.

The change will be implemented from January 2023. Stock items may still have the previously used potting compound during a transitional period.
